HiSea offers readily available, easily understandable, accurate and reliable high-resolution information to fit users’ operations and to plan and manage the aquaculture farms’ requirements seamlessly, reduce monitoring activities and increase financial efficiency of various marine activities.

HiSea provides novel satellite-based downstream information services. The innovative platform incorporates and processes data obtained through the marine, land and climate service COPERNICUS (the EU Earth Observation and Monitoring service), local monitoring data and advanced modelling.

The new HiSea services sell sheet for port sector, entitled, “High Resolution Forecasts of Sea Water Quality Data at Your Fingertips”, clearly presents the project’s offerings for ports.

HiSea Services offer sea water quality information and forecasts to port users presenting flexible layers for port authorities and managers.

A poster presenting the EU-funded HiSea Project was presented at the Aquaculture Europe 2019 conference which is taking place in Berlin, Germany.

The poster of the HiSea Project which was presented  at the EGU General Assembly 2019 in Vienna, as part of the Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service (CMEMS) session. 

Deltares presented the EU-funded HiSea Project at the EGU General Assembly 2020. In the online event, a poster was showcased entitled “Ensemble simulation of seawater temperature and its seasonal variations in vertical gradient-An application to aquaculture operations in Southern Aegean Sea, Greece”.
